As stupid as this sounds, I don’t get how to use them. They’re “free” to scan but not to remove malware. Is there an actual free antivirus that will remove the malware too? I looked under some threads but those were mainly suggestions as to which ones are free. I downloaded Avast before even looking and it’s only free to scan. I also don’t know if I’m using them properly and if they are actually free.
