Paranoid there’s a crypto miner in my pc

Long story short I visited a website that has pirated games (later learned that it was fake) and downloaded a torrent.

I didn’t open any of the .exe files I just tried to keep opening a .pak file but WinRAR kept saying it was corrupt.

Did I catch any harmful virus or malware? I’m noticing when I open Task Manager CPU usage instantly drops from high 50s to less than 10 %. But when I check CPU usage on MyASUS (Task Manager closed) it doesn’t really cross 10% when my PC is idle. Did a scan with MalwareBytes but nothing was found.

Am I being worried for nothing?

Edit: Laptop isn’t hot when idle.
